Relationships Counseling

Individual therapy can be a powerful tool for adjusting to evolving relationships. Whether you’re working towards acceptance of relationships that no longer serve you, or you have the desire to maintain, grow, and strength an important relationship— I’m here to work with you.

Areas we’d cover in therapy:

  • Your relationship history and patterns

  • Strengths, values, and vision for relationships

  • Evidence-based practiced that can improve relationships and connection

  • Attachment styles

  • Family systems and relationships dynamics

  • Communication strategies

  • Coping skills/strategies

  • Decision making processes

  • Establishing and setting healthy boundaries

You may notice, with individual therapy, an improvement in:

  1. Your decision making processes: feeling more grounded and settled in the decisions you make in your relationships and in general.

  2. Abilities to communicate. Feeling like you’re being heard, and others are hearing you.

  3. More fair fighting/disagreements. Disagreements are a part of relationships, but they don’t have to be toxic and result in negativity.

  4. Becoming a better partner, parent, spouse, etc. You’ll understand the other individual’s perspectives, needs, and wants better.

  5. Insight and self reflection. You may feel more aware, inspired, and equipped to deal with life’s challenges with relationships.

“The most important thing in communication is to hear what is not being said.”

— Peter Drucker
